Lyxmine was born into a very peculiar priest family of drow who practice peace and wholeness of self, so she was a freak already. They believe not only in the eradication of demons, but also the cleansing of the infected aura of the people and things it came in contact with. they believe the ultimate achievement is inner peacefulness and complete self-awareness, basically fighting against their nature. Lyxmine's father, the head priest struggled with her upbringing and training to be the next priestess in line daily. She hated the sects view on life and the constant pressure to believe and practice a religion she doesnt support.
One day her father had to battle a particularly powerful demon, and only defeated it because he had a few other priests along. during her evening studies he was partucularly short because of the trying battle. she blew up and they had a big fight and she stormed off. that nigh the demons brother took some friends and sieged the temple. he possessed Lyxmines father and went to her room. she thought he had come to make peace, but found it to the contrary when he started to strangle her and shout things like 'youve been a bad girl' and 'youre a failure and a disgrace to the family' in a fit of blind survival she dug her thumbs into his eyes. she grabbed her dagger and made her way through the raucus to the altar room, where her fathers weapon, the priesthood and her familys heirloom, the one thing about her life she looked forward to, the two bladed scythe Lokomines (she the "miens" is a last name/title of sorts.) One blade to purge the demon's mortal body (and of course the obvious mortal body of most anything that can succumb to a scythes blade) and another incorporeal blade made especially to purge the demons immortal soul. with that weapon she slayed the greater majority of her order, including her possessed parents. as she looked down at the rusty color of drying blood against her onyx skin she felt not remorse-but satisfaction, greedom. now she roams the countryside doing what she pleases and slaying things for fun. the scars on her fae come from the only demon that not only got a hit in on her, but survived.
